Monogram Instructions:

You can easily create your design using a cutting program such as Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio. Here are some instructions to help guide you on creating your custom piece.

Upload design to your program. Create two text boxes. One for the monogram and the second for the last name. I recommend a simple font such as Arial or Times New Roman which are timeless fonts that won’t take away from your design.

Line up the monogram first and arrange it to be the bottom layer. Then add the last name in the center of the monogram letter. Align everything until it looks the way you want it.

Once you have everything lined up, highlight the entire design, monogram and last name and size to the size you are wanting to cut. Then hide everything but the monogram. Cut the monogram letter. Once cut you can then cut the remaining design. For easiness I will weld the last name with the remaining design and cut all on one mat.

If you decide to cut larger than a 12” mat you will need to slice the design and cut out in sections.

TIPS: I recommend cutting the monogram letter a contrasting color to the rest of the design. If your surface is white for example I would cut the monogram letter a lighter gray or similar shade and the other design and last name a darker gray or black. If your surface is a wood stain I would cut the monogram a slightly mid tone gray and I would cut the rest of the design a white. That way the white pops over the monogram and the background. Of course these are suggestions. You can use your imagination and make it all yours!

Please NOTE: Some designs have intricate elements that will require using a sharp blade for best results. And the quality of your cut will depend on the size of the design you are intending to cut. The smaller you cut the design the more difficult it will be to cut and weed. Please take this in consideration when purchasing specific designs.

*JPG file for printing (To print you will need to adjust the settings in your printer dialogue box. You must select "scale to fit".)

*AI for Graphics Based Software
*DXF for Silhouette Basic

If there are any other particular formats that you need please convo me before purchasing to make sure I can provide them to you. I don’t refund if digital files have been downloaded.
You MAY use Diva Watts Designs files to:
Create physical products for your personal use
Create physical handmade products for small business use (up to 100 end products). If you wish to make more than 100 units then you will need to purchase a commercial license to extend the number of uses by another 100 products. Please contact me directly via convo to obtain a license and I will set up a personal listing specifically for you.

1. No digitizing of any files you purchase.

2. No creation of digital printable items for resell.

4. Don’t use print on demand sites like Zazzle, Society6, Redbubble, Printful, Merch by Amazon, Gooten, Printify, or any of the others. Licensing for that would cost much more than I charge here.

5. You may not sub-license the design.

6. You may not trace the design and sell it as your own.

7. You may not export the design to any other digital format including embroidery. Nana's Handmade Baby is the ONLY business authorized to digitize my designs for embroidery.
8. You MAY NOT claim my designs or artwork as your own.

Please note that it is your responsibility as a buyer to make sure any products you plan to create to sell does not have trademarks or copyrights in the category you sell in. For example: Some phrases and words are not allowed on apparel but can be make into a sign. You would have to check the trademark and copyright databases for specific information.
